Soundous (soon-dos) is an experienced EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Facilitator with over a decade of expertise in community outreach and program management. Throughout her career, Soundous has been dedicated to supporting equity-deserving groups and fostering inclusive environments, with a particular focus on community development.
With a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph and a Master of Management from the Sauder School of Business, Soundous brings both analytical and strategic acumen to her work. Her ten years of experience as a program manager have equipped her with the skills to develop and implement impactful programs that address community needs and drive positive change. In recent years, Soundous has worked closely with Indigenous communities to co-create programs that are tailored to their specific needs and aspirations. By focusing on building respectful partnerships,
Soundous has developed and managed initiatives aimed at helping individuals find meaningful career paths, ensuring that the solutions are both relevant and effective.  Driven by personal experiences of marginalization and exclusion, Soundous is passionate about using her privilege and expertise to support others and advance systems of change. Her goal is to cultivate environments where everyone feels valued and included, embedding equitable practices throughout organizational and community life.
