Fariha Kabir (she/her) is a social policy researcher passionate about healthcare, community programming, education, and financial inclusion for women. She brings over three years of experience in project management, qualitative and quantitative research, and development consulting. Fariha received her BSc in Economics from Maastricht University and her MA in Public Policy & Global Affairs from the University of British Columbia. Grounded in both economics and public policy, she frames socioeconomic challenges through a pragmatic and holistic lens connecting analysis with real-world policy design.
Born and raised in Dhaka, Fariha is strongly motivated by social justice, with a particular focus on advancing equitable health systems which finance the needs of underserved communities. Outside her professional pursuits, she is a creative at heart who enjoys art, reading fiction, experimenting in the kitchen, and watching new films.
