Anton is an accomplished professional who is currently completing his Doctorate of Education specializing in Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Social Justice from the University of Western Ontario. He also boasts an MBA in Organizational Change Management and a B.Sc. Degree in Business and is a seasoned entrepreneur and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist with over 30 years of management experience.
In his current capacity as the Executive Director of the IDEA Advocacy Group, Anton provided leadership in corporate strategy, EDI consulting, and business development. His responsibilities included facilitating DEI program offerings and consulting on organizational EDI and corporate governance. Anton acted as lead consultant with Mount Royal University in the development of the university’s EDIA Strategic Plan, providing assessment, consultation and reporting to the university’s EDIA committees and departments. Serving as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Consultant for the Alberta Schools Athletic Association, Anton coordinated recruitment efforts and led educational workshops for members throughout Southern Alberta.
As the Chairperson for the Hockey Alberta Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, Anton guides a diverse group in building recommendations for diversity, inclusion, and equality in hockey in Alberta. Additionally, Anton is a recognized author, keynote speaker, and expert with numerous media credits, including television, print, and radio. His multifaceted skill set encompasses senior management, recruitment, equity, diversity, and inclusion program development, wellness program administration, change management, policy development, instruction, facility management, finance, budgeting, construction and design, service design, analytics, implementation, strategic management, corporate performance, and partnership development.
