Angus Graeme (he/him) spent 30 years in post secondary education initially as faculty and subsequently in a variety of roles in senior administration. He served in his last position as President and CEO at Selkirk College, a multi-campus regional college in BC, for 11 years. Angus now offers facilitation, executive coaching, and consulting in the areas of leadership development, strategic planning, governance, curriculum development, and organizational change.

Angus is passionate about the power of learning to transform lives, communities and society, and how diversity, equity and inclusion are critical to building resilience and success in organizations, institutions, and education systems. Angus currently serves as a director on the Board of Columbia Basin Trust, is the External Co-Chair of the BC Council of Admissions and Transfer, is a mentor in the Leadership Mentors Program at Colleges and Institutes Canada and is a volunteer advisor with the Canadian NGO Catalyste+(formerly Canadian Executive Service Organization). In the latter role he has served on assignments with partners in Ghana, Ethiopia, and Laos.

Angus’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in forest resource management and a master’s degree in leadership, as well as graduate level study in executive coaching and professional development credentials in facilitation, public sector governance, reconciliation, adult learning theory, intercultural communication, and gender-based analysis. Angus is a registered professional forester in the province of BC (retired) and a certified executive coach. He lives in the West Kootenay region of BC on the traditional territories of the Sńʕaýckstx, Syilx-Okanagan, and Ktunaxa peoples.
