Unconscious bias exists in each person’s worldview, affecting our behaviours resulting in barriers to inclusion, performance and engagement. This session will provide participants with a deep dive into the concept of unconscious bias, explaining how implicit beliefs and stereotypes shape our decisions without our conscious awareness. Through an exploration of the neuroscience behind bias, participants will understand how biases form and why they can influence our perceptions and actions. Participants will gain insights into the importance of allyship and how to actively support a more inclusive and equitable work environment.

Workshops
Our Understanding Unconscious Bias workshops are highly interactive and can range from a focused two-hour session to a full-day experience. Designed for small groups to encourage meaningful dialogue and active participation, these sessions create space for honest reflection and practical learning.

Webinars
Our Understanding Unconscious Bias virtual presentations are designed for mid- to large-sized groups and delivered in an engaging, interactive format using tools such as live polling and whiteboarding.
At 60–90 minutes in length, these sessions build awareness, create a shared understanding of unconscious bias, and spark meaningful conversation at scale. Available in both English and French, each session includes practical takeaways, along with discussion guides and resources to support continued learning beyond the presentation.

Our Understanding Unconscious Bias interactive, self-paced e-learning program delivers impactful learning anytime, anywhere. Through facilitator-led videos, practical exercises, and guided self-reflection, participants build awareness of unconscious bias and develop strategies to mitigate its impact in their day-to-day work.
