Laura (she/her) is a researcher passionate about sex and gender equity. She received her BSc and MA from the University of Toronto (UofT) and is currently completing her PhD at UofT in cognitive psychology. Broadly, her research strives to identify dementia risk and resilience factors in women who are underrepresented in research.
Through her academic work, she has gained valuable experience interacting with patient populations and healthcare providers, collaborating with international research teams, communicating research findings to both academic and non-academic audiences, and collecting and analyzing various types of data (e.g., online surveys, neuropsychological tasks, and neuroimaging data).
Laura believes that data-driven approaches are key to making informed decisions that help foster equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. She is excited to be part of the Inclusivity team.
